Our Members

Current ASPI membership is growing in diversity. Typical member company characteristics include the following:

  • All ASPI member companies view the North American pulp and paper market as material. Some members only focus on the North American market, while for others the North American market is relatively small compared to other global regions of the world.
  • ASPI member companies have primary headquarters in nine countries, with active operations in every pulp and paper producing country in the world.
  • ASPI members include companies that boast several billion dollars in annual revenue, as well as those with annual revenue of less than $5 million.
  • Approximately half of ASPI current member companies are publicly traded; the rest are sole proprietorships and/or closely privately held.
  • Some ASPI member companies produce all of their products in their owned and operated facilities; others totally outsource their manufacturing and supply.
  • Several current ASPI member companies can track their membership back to the founding of ASPI; others have been members for less than five years.
  • ASPI Member Companies vary from those that only sell to the pulp and paper industry to those whose primary product and/or service is sold to many industries.
  • ASPI has several member companies whose primary initial exposure to the pulp and paper industry was through their membership in ASPI.

ASPI Annual Membership Dues are a direct function of a company's total annual revenue to the global pulp and paper industry. A single ASPI membership allows for ASPI participation from all divisions and/or subsidiaries of the member company.
