About ASPI Meetings

ASPI meetings provide a unique forum for attendees to meet and interact with other executives who share many of the same paper industry challenges and opportunities. Networking opportunities within ASPI's diverse membership is often cited as the Association's most important benefit.

In addition to meeting and networking with other industry supplier executives, attendees at ASPI meetings have the opportunity to meet key industry customer executives. ASPI meetings typically feature at least two key paper industry customer executives on the program. Most customer presenters stay to participate in the entire meeting program, thus providing excellent opportunity for a more personal dialogue with supplier executives attending the meeting.

All ASPI meeting programs also include one or more professional speakers from outside the pulp and paper industry. ASPI member company executives have voiced a strong desire to have ASPI meeting programs teach and motivate on management techniques that stimulate change and organizational reinvigoration.

Another key component of ASPI meetings is a financial overview of the pulp and paper industry, both in North America and globally. Industry analysts invited to speak usually stay throughout the meeting, and are available for individual breakout sessions with meeting attendees.

ASPI's twice-annual meetings are scheduled in the Spring and Fall of each year, and generally follow a proven format that begins on Wednesday evening and adjourns at noon on Friday. View the most current available meeting schedule.

The ASPI forum is a great platform from which suppliers can unify their voice to the industry. We have common interests in the way we approach our customer base, and ASPI provides a network of supplier peers to capitalize on sharing experiences. Greg Bengtson, Eka Chemical
