Occasionally, the Board of Directors of ASPI recommends to the membership that ASPI take a formal position on an issue of sensitivity to paper industry suppliers. One recent example is drafting an article titled, "Has safety compliance become groundhog day?" that was published by a leading industry magazine discussing the rising costs of safety compliance and ideas to maintain the focus of safe environment, but do so in a more efficient way. Recently, ASPI has initiated discussions regarding how to improve the value provided to both suppliers and our industry by trade shows and exhibits.
