ASPI 2018 Fall Meeting

 ASPI 2018 Spring Meeting

 February 28- March 2, 2018

 Diplomat Beach Resort, Hollywood, Florida

Each spring, ASPI brings together leaders from a wide range of pulp, paper, and packaging industry suppliers to further their knowledge about how best to serve industry customers. This year was no exception. The ASPI 2018 Spring Meeting proved to be one of the larger meetings in recent years with over 70 members attending. The program featured speakers from key customers in the industry as well as the presentation of ASPI's two annual awards. Paul O’Bernier, Paper and Board Manufacturing Solutions, International Paper, was the recipient of ASPI's 2018 Excellence in Leadership Award and Linda Massman, CEO, Clearwater Paper, was the recipient of ASPI's 2018 Customer Executive of the Year award. As Ms. Massman could not attend the meeting, Terry Borden, Vice President, Purchasing, Clearwater Paper, accepted the award on her behalf. These awards not only provide recognition for the recipient, they also promote ASPI’s mission of supporting industry performance.
Program speakers included: Mike Lafave, SVP & COO, Containerboard/Packaging & Recycling, Kruger; Bill Kessinger, Vice President and General Manager, KapStone; Alan Nichols, SVP, Mills, Graphic Packaging International; Paul O’Bernier, Paper and Board Manufacturing Solutions, International Paper; Terry Borden, Vice President, Purchasing, Clearwater Paper; Maria Brennan, Vice President, Supply Chain, Domtar; and invited financial speaker, Debbie Jones, Deutsche Bank.
—plus ample networking opportunities—in a relaxed, informal setting.

The 2018 Spring Meeting kicked off with a casual welcome reception for all attendees on Wednesday evening, immediately followed by dinner.
